Karl Heisler is Director Business Development Europe at Sony DADC where he has responsibility for Digital Content Services. Karl has more than 10 years experience in the content and telecommunication industry supporting the successful launch of various content portals at Sony and Vodafone.

Previous experience includes IP TV portal launches for broadcasters (ProSieben and Austrian national broadcaster ORF) and first broadband VOD portals for Telekom Austria.
Karl studied computer science and economy where he graduated at the University of Salzburg. He worked for a range of companies in the telecommunication industry including IBM, Informix and POET before he joined Sony in 1999.
